I can see that you're getting more playful and clever when using inDesign, rather than grid paper. Taking screenshots like this is helpful to see the letters as a system.
There are few clever moves, such as taking a notch out of the stem and using a minimal amount of pixels for the diagonals. In considering the typeface as a system, stick to a consistent rule set, so that when you do use the letters to spell out words, the words hold together as a unit.
